A Serial Entrepreneur loving life!

I’m a South African born soul with a wild imagination and a strong inner child with dreams sometimes too big to comprehend. I'm an eternal optimist by choice and have gone on the search for life's great answers on many occasions. 

I live for experiences, challenging myself beyond possibility, love for my family and friends, the thoughts and discovery of the unknown past, present and future. 

The quickest way to lose my attention is to talk about the weather and how you've had a headache for the past week. I love drinking red wine on kitchen counters and having deep rooted soulful real conversations. 

Career wise, I'm a Registered Professional Accountant (SA) and born Entrepreneur.

Over the past 18 years of my career,  I've travelled all across Africa Implementing business processes, financial and operational controls, as well as required software solutions. During this time I have also been involved in numerous business turnaround strategies, have had he honour of sitting on various exco committees and have found myself to be passionate about empowering entrepreneurs and business growth by exploring new revenue streams, markets and leveraging technology and a good mindset.

I have built my own company from the ground up (twice) and have successfully sold
both. I hardly ever say no to a challenge and believe that consistency wins the race! I have more energy than most and a ton of grit reflecting in my 3 x completed Ironman Triathlon events in the past 5 years, as well as scaling a business through the pandemic.

I believe being trainable, changeable and teachable is key for personal growth as well as for the growth of the team I work with and organisations I represent and consult for. Languages has also always been a passion of mine and I have studied German, Portuguese and Zulu where I have needed to conduct business accordingly.

Africa Entrepreneurship and Women Empowerment are two topics I hold dear to the heart and will therefore always share my knowledge and expertise where I can to leave a positive impact on the people I get in contact with or have the honour in addressing. 

Why Life, The Universe and Everything?

My blog is inspired from my own experiences. Experiences of growing up in the north of Botswana in Africa, being raised by a cool mom and a military corporal, competitive sport, eating disorders, building businesses, success, burnout, love, loss and spirituality.
